Harrogate @ Halloween
Crescent Gardens, Harrogate, HG1 2S
Looking for something fun to do over the late-October half-term if you’re visiting North Yorkshire? Look no further than our event marquee which will be open from 10am to 5pm every day except Sunday 4pm finish, of the half-term week, from 26th October until the 1st November 2026. Harrogate is a historic spa town and it is one of the most popular locations in Yorkshire as visitors love the laidback charm combined with high-end stores and tearooms which make for the perfect day out near Halloween.
Our marquee will be heated so you can stop in and warm up as you browse the many stalls filled with unique and hand-crafted products that are perfect gifts for loved ones as Christmas approaches. As you pass from the town centre to Valley Gardens to watch the orange and red leaves falling at this time of year, there’s no better way to pass some time, and what’s more, you can enjoy the historic buildings we’ll be surrounded by.
What else is there to do in the local area?
There’s a lot to do in the Harrogate area as it sits at the entrance to the Yorkshire Dales. If you’re heading into the National Park for a day out walking Brimham Rocks, or popping into Fountains Abbey for the day, a quick stop at Harrogate will always be welcomed. There’s the famous Betty’s Cafe Tea Rooms, which offers an exclusive and luxurious retreat from the October cold, as it was one of the first places to offer the original Afternoon Tea. You can visit the Royal Pump Room Museum to discover the spa history of Harrogate, and there’s a beautiful walk to take in the fresh air through Valley Gardens. If you are in the mood, you can also stop in at the Turkish Baths for a one-of-a-kind hamam experience.
What’s on offer?
We’ll be hosting dozens of stalls with vendors ranging from handmade fudge from The Fudge Factory to bespoke jewellery from Magha Jewels and Minerals. We’ll be located just a short walk from the main Harrogate town centre in Crescent Gardens opposite The Royal Pump Room Museum, and you can browse stalls like Sunnyjolly Designs with animal and wildlife themed paintings, as well as decorative outdoor fairy products from Enhancted Earth.
