For one week only we will be in the old Ann Summers shop on the Quay Mall. Look for our signage. We are bringing a small glimpse of what is available at County shows to the Town. Delicious handmade fudge, farmhouse flavoured cheeses, personalised products, memorabilia, Fossil’s and crystal’s, Toys as seen on Dragon’s Den, come and see if we have your surname history, have your pets photo imposed on a scene of your choice, A holiday in Scotland 3 nights 4 days for only £99, and country themed children’s clothing all very different and not normally found on the High street.

The long-established Nottinghamshire County Show offers a huge selection of stands, activities and events and really does have something for everyone. The show includes all of the traditional heritage aspects of farming and rural life that you’d expect, such as duck-herding, best-of-breed competitions as well as showcasing rural life 21st-century style with motor-cross stunt riding and state-of-the-art farm machinery. Artisan foods are amongst the tasty treats that await you in the Food Experience marquee, and if you need to work off some of those calories there’s even a Sports Zone!

The New Forest Show is one that children especially enjoy with lots of hands-on demonstrations and activities to entertain them as well as the a mini-farm, where children can see, learn about and get involved with our farmyard friends. This is a fantastically different show with all things flora and fauna at its heart. Attractions include show gardens, gardening talks and workshops with experts (some of whom you may recognise) and even a floral themed train! As well as being the perfect event for the gardening enthusiast, there’s also plenty for everyone else to go wild over, in fact, last years event won an award for being the most popular day out in Shropshire! Foodies will be able to see John Torode in action as the 2018 celebrity chef in residence and his demonstrations will be amongst the 12-hours of entertainment provided every day!

Rutland Mistletoe Fair

The Mistletoe Fair comes to Rutland Showground in October, so start your Christmas shopping in style!
